Santa Claus is Coming to Town!

Every year on the day before Thanksgiving, we take the girls to visit Santa. We like to take them to Bass Pro Shops. The Santa is amazing. The picture is free and they give out a little something extra every year—this year it was a little stuffed Christmas mouse. There are tons of activities for the kids to do while they are there too. It’s a really fun time and since it gets really busy in December, we like to go a little early.

This year I was able to convince the girls to wear these shirts and tutus from Target. Surprisingly, Henley was the one fighting me on it—-she’s usually the easier one to dress. I am so in love with the more rustic look of the flannel with the girly, sweetness of the tutu.

The girls Christmas lists are done and have been sent out to our families, I actually only have a few more things to get and we are all set. Here are some of the items being asked for from the girls:

A lot of these things are on both of their lists so we have bought multiples of quite a few things. Macie is more into Barbie while Henley is more into stuffed animals and furry things. The Monkey is at the top of her list and she asked Santa for it, he is pretty cute. Macie asked Santa for the Dreamhouse.

This holiday season more than any presents, I want the girls to enjoy it. Our seasonal bucket lists have been working so well to make sure we are doing things with the girls and creating memories. We will get our Christmas one up soon and I hope it’s full of great experiences that show the girls there is more to the holidays than presents which can be hard for a 3 and a 5 year old.
