Fall Bucket List

Fall is here. I've been unusually distracted since fall started but as of October 1st, I finally have my fall decorations up. I have been having visions of pumpkin bread and the Halloween fun dancing around in my head. This time of year has always been my favorite but there is just something so special about celebrating these seasons with kids.

As a working mom, sometimes I forget all that I want to squeeze in during this time so I always try to make a list. Here are somethings I have on my list for Fall:

  • Making homemade pumpkin bread
  • Visiting the pumpkin patch with the girls
  • Carving a pumpkin (a unicorn carving has already been requested)
  • Watching the girls' school Halloween parade
  • Trick or Treating
  • Trying not to get sick on Halloween candy
  • Going to the local fall festival
  • Enjoying some cooler temps
  • Wearing leggings and a coat because of the cooler temps
  • Watching Hocus Pocus
  • Reading Room on the Broom to the girls (Such a cute book, I definitely recommend for kiddos)
  • Bringing out all of my dark nail polish
  • Hosting our 5th Annual Friendsgiving
  • Hosting our family Thanksgiving
  • Making fall sangria with honeycrisp apples
  • Making some yummy crockpot meals and soups
  • Enjoying homemade apple cider
  • Lighting fall scented candles
  • Trying mulled wine (any recipes you recommend?)
  • Making chocolate & caramel apples
  • Reading outside on the patio, enjoying the weather
  • Going to the Epcot Food and Wine Festival
  • Making apple and pumpkin butter
  • Take some fall themed photos of the girls

Since we are in Florida there are so many "fall" things that we really can't do but these things listed here are Fall to me. What are you most looking forward to this season?

And for a little throwback, how cute are these two!
